Petty Snacks Totchos Recipe
This recipe is a classic for a reason, featuring seasoned ground beef and all the essential nacho toppings.

Ingredients:
- 1 (32-ounce) bag of frozen tater tots
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
Optional Toppings:
- Jalapenos
- Sour cream
- Black beans
- Diced tomatoes
Instructions:
Bake the Tater Tots: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake according to package directions.
Cook the Ground Beef: While the tots are baking, cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease.
Season the Beef: Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Assemble the Totchos: Once the tater tots are crispy, remove them from the oven. Spoon the seasoned ground beef evenly over the tots. Sprinkle generously with the shredded cheese.
Melt the Cheese: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Toppings and Serve: Carefully remove the totchos from the oven. Top with your favorite cold toppings like sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. Serve immediately.
